I've been a fan of Rod since the early days of The Faces when I was touring with the band Casino.

I've met Rod several times as I was the resident band at The Ritz for 12 years and even had him join me on stage to do a number... when I asked him if he needed a job!

 

About 10 years ago I put a band together called The Rod Stewart Sensation and we did a few local gigs but went on to do other things. I also performed several times on Princess Cruises.

I've recently started playing as a duo with Andy Ellis who is a great bass guitarist and we have programmed our own backing tracks to do a Rod tribute show with all the sound of a live band but small enough to play pub gigs or corporate events.
